Hello! Backlogs may not necessarily reflect poorly on your whole profile if you have other ways to showcase your commitment to learning and proactive steps you took to make up for those. Sometimes backlogs could be because of genuine life challenges and these can be briefly touched upon in your essay or SOP. Make sure your academic documents are able to correctly highlights your strengths. Also undertake various profile building activities to develop a more well rounded application. Good luck!
